I have decided to take the plunge into the blogging world. I was really worried about posting private items about us but I hope our experience can help others.
For those who know don't know me, my name is Christine. My husband's name is David. We live in a small town in upstate New York. I'm a stay at home mom who home schools our two children, Alexander age 10 and Sarah age 7. We home school because we believe that we need to instill our faith into our children's education. We do not feel that public school support our Christian values.
We have been thinking about adoption for a while. Several years ago, we went to Steven Curtis Chapman concert. He adopted two girls from China. After the concert and talking with our minister, we have decided to adopt a baby from China.
We started the process back in April 2006. We are logged into China's system with a date of 9/15/06. Currently China has referred up to 11/05. We are praying that the referral process speeds up.
